I am a young adult who gave himself to the Lord Jesus in the year 1991. On this occasion, I had a personal meeting, through a retreat, with Jesus and from that moment on, the call of the Lord has been realized in my life. I am married with Adriana, a beautiful servant of the Lord, and together with her and my sister-in-law, Lupita, we sing to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
I come from a home in which the Catholic faith was practiced, where my parents infused in me the love of God. It is because of this influence that I became involved with, as a very young boy, the choir of my parish in Chavinda (my home town) in Michoacan, Mexico.
In 1982, my family and I moved to the US. In this land of abuse of freedom, I let myself be drawn away from God and into the life of darkness and sin. I completely forgot all that my parents had taught me about the love of God. I began to live in complete solitude and nothing could fill in the great hole I felt in my heart.
After many years of searching in vain for false happiness, I felt the deep urge to put my life back into order. In this way, I began to go back to church, and on one occasion, while praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament, I told God that I wanted to live, because my life of darkness was driving me to a death in sin.
The answer of the Lord came quickly; the Almighty already had a plan for me.
He lead me toward a spiritual retreat, in which I would be lead toward his Holy Atrium; all sadness and darkness disappeared, and my life changed completely. In this meeting, I received a message from the Lord: "Give Me a chance, and I will write a page in the book of your life, and, if you serve Me, I will take to where you cannot imagine. Take charge of spreading my message, and I will take charge of your life." That deep voice, full of promise, has become reality in my life. Today I have visited many places that I never imagined I would go. I have gone to many beautiful countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, and parts of the US.
God has given me the gift of inspiring me with many compositions, one of which won me a prize in Guatemala in the International Festival of Mary, titled "El resplandor de María." Today, thanks to God, I am the representative of Southern California in the festival and my responsibility is to send representatives of my area to this festival.
The Good Lord as permitted me eight productions after eleven years of serving Him.
